Mosaic is an excellent way of bringing communities together. Whether it be in a school, a housing estate, a hospital, an office, or another place, mosaic gets people thinking and creating together. Children as young as three and adults of any age can make mosaic together. It's easy to get started and the results are always marvellous. Mosaic creates a real sense of community ownership and has turned many dingy walls into bright and beautiful spaces.

I have worked in the community now for over 10 years and fully on mosaic projects for 6 years. I have worked all over the world, but especially in London with many local authorities, schools, charities and other businesses.

Each and every mosaic project is different from the last and I offer a tailor made package to suit your needs. Budgets can run from as little as £400 to well over £40, 000. I can work alone or if needs be bring along a team of fully trained artists. I also work with volunteers who need experience working in the community arts field. Every person I work with has to have a full up to date CRB check. I love what I do and believe mosaic to be an ideal way of bridging gaps in communities and creating great art at the same time.

Safety is of prime importance to me, therefore every community project starts with a full risk assessment and health and safety check. I provide all safety equipment when neccessary and when the mosaic is finished run my hands over every part of the work to make doubly sure there are no sharp edges. I have also taken time to test and research all mosaic methods and have studied hundreds of mosaics so that I always know which method will be absolutley correct for the job.

If you have an idea for a mosaic project and need a project manager or are running one and just need some advice please do email me. Also if you need experience working in the community arts field please send me a CV and I will endeavour to get you involved.
