The Kingsnympton Estate is right on the edge of Richmond Park. Although situated in a beautiful part of London the estate itself has been neglected and forgotten about for years. Recently this has begun to change.
We went up there hearing stories of how dangerous the place was so we were a little nervous on our initial arrival when conducting a questionaire. We found the people to be just the opposite. They were warm, friendly and most welcoming.
As the project got underway with the chidren taking part in every process, including the designing of each panel, we found more and more people coming along and making the project their own.
All in all we had about 70 children and around the same number of adults working with us. The photos below show some of the fun we had and what an absolute success it was.
