Commisioned by Cantilever trust and a partnership between them, Joseph Lancaster Primary School and the Save the World Club. I led this full time five week project. The mosaics were based on the works of William Shakespeare. The children investigated the plays and then designed the mosaics. They then drew them onto the boards using overhead projectors and proceeded to mosaic the nine pieces.
We then proceeded to mosaic mini beasts around the school pond as we had a few days to spare at the end of the project. The project was deemed a success by all, especially the children, who benefitted immensely by being able to take control and work as a team with their mates, the teachers and the artists.
